Prayer needed
Lots of prayers are needed for my aunt, she is in the hospital in St. Louis. They thought she had cancer in her ovaries and her lungs, through prayers they went in last Mon. did a complete hysterectomy with no cancer. But came to the family yesterday and asked the all family be present on Thurs. they were going in to da surgery on the lung, but are unable to do so. Now we don't have a clue what is going on, but it doesn't sound good. So please keep us in your prayers. As some of you know, I've not shared alot of things with everyone, somethings I keep tight, Doctors have asked if I'd had anyone in my family that has had this, my response has been no. But last week we found this out. Now I can't say that. You see I also need prayers, for some of you that already know, and those that don't, I have a mass on right lung, Brian is not happy with the Dr. I've been seeing, One time he says I've got copd, next time ashemia (sp) then of course puts me on the advair then , this last time didn't even ask me anything, was in there a whole 5min after 2 hr. wait. They said that my mass may of shrunk, but hasn't spent enough time , nor don't the right test, Brian just feels that I might need a 2nd opion. Sorry to be blurtting this all out right now, but I'm alittle out of sorts, just got the call about my aunt Sharon. And I feel that someone should of helped her sooner. I don't know at this point, I maybe wrong. I just pray that god send his angels to be around her at this time, and he holds her in his caring arms. Thank yo'll for letting me vent. Thank you so much hon, it actually feels like a horrible dream. I had just told the doc. the other daay during my appointment about the other cancers in the family, and he said flat out, I see, as far as you know, no lung, and I said no. Ya know, Brian seems to thank that finding a new doc. would be in my best interest. and I guess I need to find one closer to the new house too. Maybe one at Vandy would be best. Thanks again my dear. Sorry I guess I'ma thank'n out loud again.

Thank you so much, bless your heart, glad to see your home, I will. I'm gonna contact Jennifer, she'll get me a referral. She 's great at through things. I have lots of faith in them. Thurs. seems so long from now, but I told mama that they were more then likely wanting to get all of the biopsy's back, I know they had told the family the plan of action last week was to do the surgery, then get the biopsy's , go back in for the lungs then, with the chemo. Now they said all is canceled with the lung. Now with the meeting on Thurs. I suspect we won't know anything til then. I really hate the wait. I know I just

Barb--Prayers have been said for you and your aunt from our family. I really want you to get a second opinion...there is no question about it. Any good doctor supports a patient *****aches out for a second opinon--it's a great system of checks and balances for physicians and if your doctor really cares about you he/she won't be offended and, instead, will appreciate your advocacy on your own behalf. Your second opinion doc needs to know about your aunt and spend enough time with you that you feel like you can trust them.
