I went for my pre employment physical. Not the outcome that I wanted. The nurse practitioner is probably not going to allow me to start work in March. He did a musculoskeletal exam and, of course, I don't have anywhere near complete mobility of my left arm. He said he wouldn't feel safe with me going to work for at least another month or two but he will talk to my surgeon. I knew I was pushing it, but, good grief, I have been off work since mid May! On the plus side, everyone there just laughed at my driver's license photo-they said it looked like a fun house picture of me since I have lost so much weight! Also, on the plus, I got to have dinner with my daughter, and the lettuce wraps at Stir Fry Cafe rock!

I'm so sorry you were not approved to return to work. Know how you were looking forward to it. Are they going to save your job at the Children's Hospital or will you have to make other plans?
