Phil is having sinus surgery tomorrow and from what they are telling us he will have two nose "female type products" in both sides of his nose with the strings taped to his forehead. Sorry if this is TMI, but now come on, can't you just imagine what that is going to look like. I got new batteries for my camera today and I will get pictures and post tomorrow night for everyone to see and have a big laugh...........lol

We have to be at the Summit hospital @ 6:00 am  in the morning and the surgery is suppose to be 8:00ish and it should take about a hour and a half, hopefully we will be back home early tomorrow afternoon.

I will post when we get home to let everyone know how things went. Even though I am cutting jokes about this, we still need your thoughts and prayers for us tomorrow.

Thanks,
Cheryl

Good luck Phil.  I have had 2 sinus surgeries and the nose cam is great afterwards.  If you close your eyes you can see the light from the inside of your head.  That is pretty darn amazing!  Oh and you can breath better too!  That is also pretty darn amazing!!!

Okay, I still have this lingering cough from a bug from last year and that made me laugh-cough, Cheryl!
I had sinus surgery in 2007 and thank heavens they didn't send me home with nasal tampons, much less nasal tampons TAPED TO MY FOREHEAD!!!  Ha ha ha!

I had a turbinate reduction and my septum straightened.  More than anything, I got a week off of work.  My sinuses are a nightmare and I don't have any significant improvement in my breathing.  Ptooey.  I guess it was worth a try.  I had it to make life with CPAP easier.  No such luck.  Maybe my band will do the trick with weight loss!

I'm sure Phil will be just fine, but we'll keep our fingers crossed for him and that it all goes smoothly.  Keep us posted and I'm looking forward to the pictures, hee hee!!!
