New Procedure Offered in East Tennessee

Until recently only 2 types of bariatric procedures were available in the East Tennessee area.  Restrictive procedures such as Lap Bands, adjustable gastric bands or gastric sleeves or Mixed procedures such as Gastric Bypass.

NOW for the 1st time, Biliary Pancreatic Diversions with Duodenal Switch will be available in East Tennessee.  Dr. Steven G. Boyce and Dr. Robert Williams of Premier Advanced Laparoscopic and Weight Loss Surgery will be performing this operation in addition to the others, making them the only surgeons in the area offering all types of weight loss procedures.

Thank you for posting this. I researched the DS but would've had to have gone to Nashville for it and I really wanted Dr. Boyce (plus Nashville is out of network for my insurance). I am very happy with my RNY but I think its great that you all have this now. I'll see you for my 6 month follow up on March 3rd!!
