New to the group but excited to be here!

I wanted to introduce myself to this group on the adivse of a friend. I am scheduled for gastric bypass February 10. I start my 2 weeks of liquids on Tuesday, January 27 and it will be the hardest 2 weeks of my life!  But it will be totally worth it in the long run. I enjoy reading everyone's posts for insights and support. Have a great day.

You are right, it will be a hard two weeks, but like where you will be after it's done!  You'll be starting a totally new life , filled with freedom!  Congrats and welcome to theTN boards!

Welcome!  I am scheduled for RNY on Feb 9th.  I start my pre-op diet on Monday.  I actually have already started it a couple of days early.  It's not so bad so  far.  Although, mine is not total liquid, it is very restricted. 

I know we will both be prooud of the results.  I quess we'll have a seat beside each other on the looser's bench.  \\

Welcome to the Board...I am new here to...my surgery will be in March...waiting for the date & final okay from insurance.....good luck w/your liquid diet...it's going to be a great, lifechanging experience from here...go get 'em!!  Micheala.

Wow, that is wonderful, just get your mind set, it's gonna be fine, eat alot of the sf popcycles, I enjoyed the tropical fruit ones, and the broth from the cans not the ones in the cubes, and your doc. and nut will let you know what their requirments are. But congrats And also to the other one that will be having their in Mar. That is my one yr. surgaversary date mon. It will pass fast for you two too. And so hard to believe. When the guys and gals were talk'n about it before I had mine I honest thought naw....noway.... but yano... yea it is that away and you are in line to see just that. MyHotComments
