Dr. Richards and Jennifer A. both think I am doing exceptional!!!   I was so excited, I've never been on a diet program and was excited to go and see how I was doing.

On their scales from the day of surgery to now, I've officially lost 29.1 pounds.  (The ticker below is from when I started at Vandy) is the difference in poundage.

Dr. Richards was so happy with how well things were going, he is waiting for my first fill until after I start my "regular" foods to see how that goes.  I'm good with that!   So I go back on Feb 26th now to get my first fill!

I have to thank all of you for without knowing you were here for encouragement and support, I don't think I'd be as good as I am now!

I also got the ALL CLEAR for joining the YMCA!!  So exercise world, here I come!!!

HUGS to ALL!!!!

How amazing is that?!  29.1 pounds since surgery--I am SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!!

Maaaaan, I should have snuck over there for a pre-insurance weigh in today just so I could have jumped up and down with you for joy over your hard work and success!

Okay, I know you've been kicking butt on your bike workouts, but now that you have the all clear, there better be lots of posts in the IDGOMB threads!!!

If you have done this well with just post op swelling, minimal restriction and stationary bike workouts, you are going to be a force to be reckoned with after your fill and your new workouts!

Your success has got me excited!  I have just a few more things to cross off my pre-insurance check list (letter from Dr which I have been waiting for for >3 months, psych eval results and lose 1.8 more pounds) and I hope to be following in your footsteps too with my Realize Band with Dr. Williams!  I'm hoping for late February, if at all possible.

Keep up the great work!!!
Denise

Amy, that is wonderful news...  and I am glad that you are motivated, excited and determined!  I have been following your journey for awhile now...  even though I don't post much anymore (something to do with a house remodel?) but I am very happy for you!  Why, in no time you will be saying, "I'm at goal!"
