So who's up and moving out there? I need to be, as I am FREEZING yet again. Maybe I need my thyroid checked. Or maybe they need to turn on the heat around here!
I had a re-do of my psychiatric evaluation today, which I feel went well. I had to repeat it because there was a miscommunication . . . I went to someone that BCBS does not approve. She was a nurse psych person, but BCBS requires evaluation by an MD or PhD. Whoopsie. My bad!
Anyway, the stack of tests I had to complete was massive and somewhat amusing. There was no heat in the area where you took the tests and I think the other side of the drywall was an open construction area. My feet were like blocks of ice by the time I got done. Then I had to walk in from the parking lot and in a rush to get out of the house, I forgot my scarf!
As you can see, the cold is making me whiny!!!!
So what have you done to keep warm and burn calories?
Today--so far: kept my food diary, did not go to the Baja Fresh or bread company just below the test center, did 30 minutes on my elliptical and a 20 minute walk to work. I have the remaining 20 minute walk to my car on the schedule. Then I have a hot date with a big, fluffy blanket and a pile of dogs.
Yesterday--accomplished: 11,100 steps on my pedometer with an estimated 2950 calories burned. To burn that I did 30 minutes on the elliptical plus 40 minutes of walking. Did my food diary and ate about 1500 calories.
Tomorrow--goals: stick with the food diary and keeping my eating in line. I have 2 pounds left to lose to get to insurance submission day and I am so close! Log in another 30 minutes on the elliptical and get in multiple walks. And avoid restaurant/fast food temptations when I go out midday to the dentist tomorrow. Gulp. It's so close to a McDonald's and it has been weeeeeks! Naah. Not worth it.

YEAH! THAT'S HOW TO ROCK THAT BIKE, AMY!!!
You should be super proud of that accomplishment! Woooo hooo!!!
Y'all are STILL getting snow? We get a sputtering of flakes here and there, but nothing like up on the plateau. I am still keeping my fingers crossed for a warm front. Like something toasty along the lines of 40 degrees.
Congrats on the personal best!
