Does anyone have a good used elliptical for higher body weights for sale?

I'm in price sticker shock about exercise equipment.  I've even checked-out Play It Again Sports, but am not finding good prices for good used and new equipment.  I find that a number of places selling used equipment are actually only marking it down by 25% or so from the original price and are not offering a decent warranty.

My sister suggested that I ask all of you guys if you know of anyone who has good quality elliptical machines for sale, and most importantly, someone who delivers ANDS sets-up the machines.  I find decent prices on-line, but then have to add close to $200 to the price just to get it inside my house and set-up for use.

I would love to hear your experience and input.  I live in Nashville.

Sometimes you can find things in your area for sale by going to Craigslist.org.  Then if you find something, you contact the person, arrange a meeting and you get to see what you are buying before you pay. 

I've had limited luck on there, but I'm from a small area in TN, closer to larger cities you might have more luck.

Another idea is always eBay.com, on there you can search by distance from your zip code and then pick it up, I'm not sure if you would be able to see it in person before you would have to pay though?

Besides posting here, those are the only two things I can think of because it is too early to suggest to go yard saleing, which is also a great place to pick up bargains.

Thanks so much.  These are good suggestions.  I had not thought of Craig's list and I should have because that is where I found the listing for the duplex I rent.  Please feel free to let me know if you think of other suggestions.  I'm on a quest (ha,ha).

Goodwill sometimes has this type of equipment. Its an even better deal when they have their end of month half off sale!

Great idea!  I'm still new to the Nashville area.  Which Goodwill stores seem to have more of the exercise equipment?

I just used Craig's List (Nashville) and bought a Nordic Track SL710 Elliptical and LOVE it....it really is like brand new...the couple I bought it from in Brentwood (TN) only used it once or twice in their home gym....they retail for about $599 & I bought it for $150......so, that will give you an idea if you find one....the wt limit on this one is 300 pounds.....so, my suggestion would be to try Craig's List & keep checking it....they seem to go quick, but w/in the week I was looking I saw 3 to 4 pop up & sell.

Thanks so much.  I'm learning that Craig's list seems to have just about anything anyone would want to buy or sale.  I'm happy to have the name of a brand that is good.  I'll remember the SL710 when I'm scouting around.
