Hello my TN neighbors
Can anyone tell me about a good bone & joint doctor in Nashville ? I went to go see a Bone and joint doc. in Columbia, TN but he just did'nt seem to know how to treat me nor did'nt want to give me any meds for my fibromyalgia pain and very bad neck pain. I have been on lortab 10 mg for quit awhile now and need something different. Anybody been through this before and does anyone know who I could go see ? An orthopedic doctor or Bone & Joint doctor is what I need.

Thanxs so much for all your help

not sure who to tell you to go to.  i too am looking for someone for the same reasons - no neck pain though.  i know there are several on here who have fibro so maybe one of them will post.  good luck in your quest.

Hey
I had to retire due to arthritis so I have alot of the same pain......can't seem to find a good doc in that category yet but I have gotten tremendous relief from a cranial-sacral physical therapist (not your traditional physical therapy) named Susan Underwood at Susan Underwood Physical Therapy in Green Hills (Nashville).......she is great....has a tremendous following though and takes a few weeks to get an appt for new pt........also, I use the sal****er pool at Results Physiotherapy in Brentwood (also in Smyrna) and that really helps (the water is a warm 92)...............hope you get to feeling better.................WENDY

You have to be a PT pt.....but you can get a referral from your primary care and some insurances will pay some won't......if your insurance doesn't you can pay $5 and do what they call independent pool where you work on your own instead of having a PT showing you stuff to do......it is worth it either way.....you can call them and get the exact details.............WENDY

PS.....still checking on dinner club date...suppose to go watch Jessica play basketball in Cleveland that day
