Got A Date

My surgery will be on Feb 5 at 10 am. I can't believe how close it is. I was told it would probably be in March. So, the ride begins...

Gracious...  that is 3 weeks away...  oh my! Aren't you excited?  I believe I would not be able to stand myself if I were in your shoes...  I would just be eat up with excitement!  I would be doing the happy dance, well maybe more like the hysterically happy dance...

I know you have worked so incredibly hard, and I am so happy and proud of you.  On a side note, Feb 5th is my brother's birthday.  Now it will be your birthday too!

I think I'm in shock, Mel. I never expected it to all happen so fast. Right now my mind is filled with preparations. So much to get together. The surgeon's office is sending me a prep packet for the liquid diet and others things I need to do before surgery. I will probably get it next week and then I can really settle into it. There just really arent words to describe how many things I'm feeling right now.

Daaaaang, that's fast!!!  I'm so happy for you, Karen!   How exciting!  I'm sure the day will be here before you know it.

Keep us posted as to how the preop diet goes, once you get started.

Thank you. I should be getting a packet next week with all my info about the liquid diet and last minute tests. If I counted correctly, I should be starting the liquids on Jan 26. I'll keep in touch through the process.
