Just wanted to post that my approval came through today. I'm hoping to have a date by the end of the week. I was told to expect a call before then. Anyway, finally I can take a breath and relax a bit. Hopefully my date will be sometime in March.

Thank you, Sonya. I was reading your post about the DS. That was my first choice too but I couldn't find a surgeon who does it who takes my insurance. Now, I've accepted that I can make RNY work for me. Good luck with whatever happens with your journey.

Thank you thats how I feel anything to help me lose weight is fine by me. I have tried for 15 years to lose weight with little or no success. At this point I would consider anything. Good luck with your surgery.
