I am from the southern part of the state as well. I spent 3 weeks there visiting family over the holidays and it was wonderful. My surgery was on Oct. 21. I lost 48 pounds pre-surgery and have lost about 82 pounds since. Things are going well. I had a couple of complications, but all is well. Having that surgery was one of the best decisions that I have made. Feel free to send me a message sometime if you would like to talk.

Oh yeah, I've heard of Oceana. I haven't been there before, but familiar with the general area. I am from Greenbrier County. A little town north of Lewisburg called Frankford. I've been in TN for about 10 years now. I enjoy living here, but enjoy getting up to WV when I can as well. Good luck with your surgery.

I saw Dr. Colquitt for my consult 2 weeks ago. His office staff are great! They have increased their program fee to $750. You are required pay $270 at your first consult if you wish to proceed with surgery, then the rest prior to surgery. I am going for my psych eval next week, then ready to submit request for auth from insurance! 
that's great news! I went to Dr. Colquitt's seminar...hmmm..last week, I think...?? it was at the Clarion Inn on Merchants Drive here in Knoxville. After further research and talking around I now have an appt with the Weight Loss Center at UT. Their program fee is $570. Nothing paid until you are approved for surgery. The program fee was a biggie for me. Keep me posted on how things work out for ya!!!
