Hello Sonya, each individual's pathway to surgery will be a little different depending on their insurance company and what they require to give approval for surgery. Our website walks you through the general process http://www.cmcwls.com/default/pathway-to-surgery. You should be hearing from someone at our office today.

Thank you,

Thanks so much I just wanted to tell you it was a great informative day and I am looking forward to hopefully having the surgery. I must say I was hoping to have the DS done but I was told that it was reserved for the super obese. My BMI is 47 but I do think this would be the best surgery for me I have had such a time losing weight. I just hope that the other surgeries if I am approved ( I hope and pray I will get approved) will be strong enough to help me lose, because I have a super low metabolism. But I trust everyone at the Centennial to do whats best for me. I have talked to Heather and she is great and I appreciate her talking to me she has helped alot.

Sonya, rest assured we will have the surgeon you choose review your chart and speak with you about your options and if DS is an option for you.
