We got this email from the National Walk from Obesity. Check out where Nashville placed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!We could not have done this without everyone's help and hard work. We are gearing up for the 2009 Walk, our next meeting will be on Sat. January 17th if you have ideas, suggestions for us please let us know. 2008 Walk from Obesity Wrap-up
The 2008 Walk from Obesity was one of the most successful Walk years to date. More than 70 cities throughout the United States hosted Walks and helped raise national awareness of the disease of obesity.

We hope you can also. It is going to be in September again and we are fairly sure it is going to be on the 19th. That is the date that we have requested and have been told that should not be a problem, but we don't have actual confirmation right now, we hope to know sometime next month. Are you intrested in joing the board and helping with things? As of right now we are meeting the 3rd Sat of each month @ 8:00 a.m. This will change as we get closer to the date. Let me know if you are interested. If not, then we will look forward to seeing you at the walk.
