It's up to my insurance again!

Well last year I had trouble getting an approval through my insurance company. I was 1 year short of having a 5 year history of morbid obesity.

SO... I'm trying again this year! I have re-read my plan and nothing has changed. So there should be no problem getting an approval this time. My paperwork was submitted to them this morning. So now I just wait and see what is said.

I am hoping this will go through and be a better year for me. Last year I was denied. And then my husband asked for a divorce.... moved another woman in the same day I moved out... I had my own apartment, but then decided to rent a house with one of my close friends. Well that recently went bad. We aren't speaking anymore and in the process of moving out.

In short. I need to do something for myself. This is something I've wanted to do for years. And my dream might actually come true this year. I want to be a healthier me and be able to keep up with my two young children.

Laura, it for sure sounds like you have had one heck of a year. I can feel your pain, we have had a rough year also. But we are refocusing this year and are going to try to handle and deal with things differently. If you are still going thru Baptist, they will take excellent care of you during this step and all of your future steps. I wish you the best of luck with all of this. It will happen for you, just hang on. Keep us posted on your progress.

Cheryl, Thank you. I've also noticed you've had one heck of a year. I hope everything goes well for you guys this year. I'm trying to focus on me and my kids this year. And my boyfriend, of course! He's happy that I'm trying again because he knows how bad I want it. He said he just wants me to be happy. He's a big man himself and maybe with seeing my progress might intice him to eat healthier as well.

I am still going through Baptist. I liked it there and Amy that deals with the insurance company was always so helpful. I love how she works.
