Parker update
Phil is home and doing much better, still a little weak but all in all he is getting better. As far as me, well of course with him home I am better, but still having it rough with the family thing. We still have no contact with them and that still hurts. I feel as if it is not meant for me to be grandmother and enjoy grankids like other grandma's do.
We both have doctors appts on Monday and we both will be getting a fill.I have had no restriction for about a month now, so I am not looking forward to stepping on those scales, but that will all work itself out in time.
I want to thank everyone for all the post,pm's,email's and calls that we have gotten this past week, they have meant so much to us both.
Love ya'll,
Cheryl
As far as family goes, I can understand, similar things are happening in our family with my oldest sister, her daughter and her grandson. I don't have an answer, but your family will be in my thoughts. Hopefully things will come around for all of us.

As far as the other goes, there's not much you can do. Just pray that they will change thier mind and let you be a part of your grandbaby's life. The only legal option you have is to get a laywer and petition the court for "Grandparents Rights".
Hang in there guys!
Glad that Phil is doing better. Tell him that he really didn't have to go through all this trouble if he didn't want to spend New Year's Eve with us. Seriously, hope he is finally on the road to getting better. Just think, maybe you will have all of the health issues out of the way right from the start.
With your family, hopefully that will change for the better. Unfortunately, I can't offer advise, but I have some ears if you need to vent.
Take care,
Tina
