New Year Mini-Challenge
Alright friends, we have finished up the Christmas Mini Challenge, and it's time to move on! The New Year is upon us and our resolutions are heavy on our minds.
Did you make any resolutions to lose more weight, break that durn stall, or simply to exercise more in the New Year. Well, what's ya waiting for!
This challenge is open to any member who wants to join. Whether you are Pre-op, Post-op, No-op!, or Trying to get approved-op! We are here to challenge you. motivate you, and to be held accountable !
All we need is your starting weight as of 1-3-09, and the amount of weight you would like to lose! If you are like me and are in the "Maintain, Don't Gain" phase, jump right in! If your goal is to exercise more, write it down! We will be posting our final roll call on 1-31-09.
Someone once told me that goals not written down are nothing more than dreams! So, write down those goals, join in the fun, and stop dreaming!
During this challenge we are going to try and help each other out. We can do this by posting great ideas for our weight loss, or joining up with a buddy and workout together! Who knows, Bob L. might even show up and ride his bike with ya!
Alright, I'll get the ball rolling by starting us out!
Starting weight 190 pounds
Ending weight 188 pounds
So, who's next?
Yeah, I am going to go for it.... I've been doing pretty good since surgery with the weight coming off, so I'm going to be a copy cat and copy Wendy's 15lbs off by the 31st.
SW: 295 EW: 280 GOAL -15lbs
(side note... this is the only place that I just readily throw my actual weight down, not that I'm comfortable with the number, but I know you all have been through the journey or are going through the journey!!)

Scott...
I have hit my first really long plateau. Kinda discouraging.... I haven't lost any weight for about 3 weeks now, but I haven't gained any either. I am sort of clueless as to how long this will last, so I don't really know what to put down for my goal. Here's a guess...
Now: 322lbs
1/31/08: 310lbs
12 lbs of weight loss total.

Hey Scott-
I am struggling with myself wanting to be conservative but I think I need to push a bit harder. So
My starting weight 1/3/2009 348 ( i did well thru christmas but lost none this last week argh)
My goal for 1/31/2009 333
Shooting for 15 pounds
I am so worried I may be on my first plateau. But I guess we shall soon see.
Also I need to get back to my exercise routine. Other than walking I want go to Curves atleast twice a week regularly by 1/31/2009.
Thanks Scott!
Come join us on the loser's bench...there is always room for more!!!!!!!!
