I'm On The Mend
Well after two long VERY LONG days at home, I got up at 5 this morning, got ready for work and went in. I was crumped over like a 100 yr old lady. My back hurt so bad and I walked real slow. But I'll be if I was going to stay home again and hang my head in the dumps. I had a pretty good day. I worked from 6:30 til 1:30 and well, I left early. I just was so tired! I got quite a bit accomplished and was all caught up on my work.
I'll tell you one thing. I never knew that a kidney infection could make a person feel so bad. But as our medical director told me today, anytime a major organ is infected or diseased such as a gallbladder, kidney or liver, your whole body hurts. I felt like I had the flu. I looked up pyelonephritis on the internet and talked to some nurses today. They were surprised that I did not get admitted to the hospital as sick as I was. The pain will continue to move around your body and that's why it seemed weird to me that the pain kept moving from my upper right back to the lower back to mid front abdomen, etc.
I am just glad to be feeling myself again. I could tell last night that I was getting back to my normal self... I got hungry and wanted to eat supper when I've not even wanted to be near food since last weekend...
Hope you all have a wonderful New years. Looks like I will be back at the house doing some painting on New years Day. I've put it off for too long!
