Hopefully tomorrow I will move to phase 2. Any recipes would be helpful. I looked on here but most are phase 3 or higher.

I think I lived on home made chili that had been pureed and soups at the time.  Hang in there, solids are coming real quick!

I ate a lot of egg custard, the recipe is at www.bariatriceating.com.  I also ate fat free refried beans with low fat cheese melted into it and cream of wheat!  Thankfully, this stage didn't last too long.

I took my refried beans and added a small amount of beef consame ' to it then  micro'ed for 1 min. sprinkled some mozz. shredded cheese on top melted it . And yummie. It gave the beans alittle different texture.New Year

This Friday, Jan 2nd will be my 4 months anniversary with Dr. Boyce! Love him and his staff! I was fortunate to only be on pureed for 2 weeks.....it was the toughest stage for me b/c the consistency made me nauseous. Not being negative but truthful:)  Anyhoo, I did egg salad, chicken salad, yogurt, refried beans, and scrambled eggs. Want the best yogurt? Kroger branch CarbMaster.....one container has 12 g of protein and 4 carbs and 1.5 fat, 80 cal...its delish...especially the vanilla...i just discovered it this weekend....boy i wish i had known about it during the pureed stage. Congrats on your surgery!!!
