Spent the Morning in ER

Sorry you've been under the weather!  I'll be at work on Monday if you need anything.  Are you gonna try and go in?  If not, take it easy and get some rest!

No Scott I'm staying home today.  I've got to see my pcp.  Hopefully I will have made enough progress that he will not want to admit me to the hospital.  I was finally able to get some chicken soup down, and about 3 bites of a wasa crisp cracker with peanut butter.  The nausea is mostly gone, but once that pain starts coming back, I get the chills and spasms in my kidney.  That is no fun.

I am so sorry that you have been so sick and in so much pain! I am glad that you went to the ER and hopefully you are now on the mend......be sure and let me know what the PCP says.....I will be praying for you.

Thanks everyone, for your phone calls, emails and posts. They mean a lot.  It's amazing how we take things for granted, then one small thing like this can totally mess up our weekend!  and to think, I have so much to do, so little time to do it on the house... 

 

I am feeling a little better, but will check in later to let you know what the PCP says.  I see him at 11;30 today.

Hope that you get better soon. Bless your heart, I've not had any stones there, but I've had them in the galbladder. And if that is anything like them, then forget that . I want no part of it. Take care and get well. Hugs Barb

Sorry to hear this Mel - hope you're feeling better now!

I went to my primary care physician today.  He gave me another prescription for the cramping.  He said it would just take a few days for the antibiotic to kick in but that if it doesn't get better, come back in Friday.  I do feel somewhat better.  

 

On the way home, I was kinda hungry (haven't eaten much since last Friday night) and asked Tim to take me by Chickfila.  It was the only place I could think of that had soup.  *I don't eat at fast foods and the only other place I could think of was Shoneys...  but I knew I could not be in a restaurant with food.  Anyway, we went in...  I was standing at the counter and almost passed out.  The smell of the food, the hustle and bustle, it just was too much.  So tim had to come get the food while I went out to the car.  

 

Finally, here it is almost 3:30 and I just got done eating about 1/4 of the soup.  I could not eat any of it; just felt too blah.  But I am feeling a little more energetic.  Probably will return back to work tomorrow, I sure don't like sitting or should  I say laying around the house.  As long as I have my rapid blast tylenol, I think I will be ok.

Sorry to hear you under the weather. I spent about 4 hours in the er last night too. i had a nose-bleed that would not quit. while There they tapped tounge depressors together and made a clamp to hold my nose closed. It seemed as iff my sinus cavite filled with junk and when I got home I wiped my nose gentle till it completely stopped. He said that I needed moisture with my cpap. I finely got to bed about 2:30 this morning. Hope you feel better soon.

Good gracious Phil, sounds like Baptist had the er filled with wls patients yesterday! LOL

Glad they got your nose bleed to stop. I had a really bad one when I was a child.  It bled so much that it scared me to death.  My mother impacted my nose with tissue or something, but it finally stopped.  I haven't had a nosebleed in many years.

 

I am feeling a little better.  Was able to cook Tim supper and actualy was able to eat some too.
