I'm on the Losers' Bench!!!!
Hi All!
Just wanted to write a short post that my surgery was Wednesday and I
am now back home in Cookeville! We got home around 4:30 Saturday. I
wasn't sure I was going to get to come home because my white count was
still a little elevated, but here I am! It is SO nice to be home!
Surgery went well but took a little longer than expected (started at
9:45 and ended around 5:30) but Dr. Dyer was able to repair my hernia
and remove a tumor on my stomach that we didn't even know was there.
Although the path report wasn't back yet, Dr. Dyer said he was sure it
was a benign tumor.
I go Tuesday to get the drains out. That will make things much easier!
Since I have been home it sounds like Tony the Tiger has moved into my
abdominal cavity! The roaring and GRRRRRRRing woke me up several
times last night! LOL! I knew that my pouch would make some noise but
goodness gracious - such a racket!!!
Well - time to get some more fluids in! Hope everyone is doing well.

Congrats hon, and Welcome home, I know that you are sure glad to be home!!! Bless your heart, what a wonderful Christmas gift. You just rest, sip some, protein, with flavoring in them and enjoy the relaxing time. Or just rest.
