I recently heard of a web site called www.fitday.com  This website will allow you to track protien, calories and carbs but not sugar.   I really need to have something that will track sugar also.

I love the site and see it as a useful tool for me.  Especially pre op.

Do any of you know of a similar site that will allow you to track sugar, or do you know if this site can be altered to include the tracking of sugar.  I can live without sugar tracking, but it would be nice to be able to track.

Happy Hollidays to everyone!

I use fitday and love it.  I use the carb counter since sugar generally shows up as carbs.  I am unfamiliar with others. Sorry!

I used Fitday but then found The Daily Plate.  It has many more brand name foods, including most of the Kroger brands.  And, it does count your sugar content in all foods.  I love that feature...  I love programs that allow you to do that...  and especially, since you can type in half a serving, or if you ate 1/4 of the recommended serving and it will recalculate it for you...

The address is TheDailyPlate.com or click on those words as I put in a link.  It's also free.

Both of those are really good!  I use fitday on a more regular basis.

I also use Spark People's Recipe Calculator when I'm doing new recipes.  It is a free program also.  It will allow you to put in  the ingredients of the recipe and then break it down for you nutrionally.
