Santa's worried!
Scott, I didn't get to post until late tongiht, but I just wanted to assure you that your heart is large enough to fill the suit that you wear with lots of love and care. I know you love this part of your life and even though the large yo is not here, the large heart that you have is still there. I'm sure you did just fine today andwill do fine in the days to come. Love you lots, Melissa
Scott,
I totally get it. btw, that is probably my favorite Christmas movie too. With this pending surgery, my "identity" as I know it and the prospect of loosing it is one of the things I have anxiety about.
Still being pre-op, I don't have a whole lot of advice here but if it's still the same suit, just stick some padding in there...there has to be some sort of satisfaction knowing that you can take it off at the end of the day.
You'll be fabulous. It's the spirit that counts.

Santa, please do not worry hun...
I can only echo the many wonderful voices here.... It is what is on the inside that counts... I know we heard that for so long as we were obese and we thought we would puke if we heard it one more time but it took me losing 165 pounds and watching you my dear sweet friend shrink before my very eyes to fully come to understand that phrase...
Children are the most perceptive creatures on the planet... They would much rather look into the eyes of a Santa that is truly happy and truly cares for them as opposed to looking into the eyes of a Santa that may be fat and can't fit into his suit and wish that he was anywhere else in the world but there... Kids know this..... It is a kid rule.... I am not exactly sure when we lose this ability but I think I need to re read the handbook and find this out... people may pay big bucks for this info.....LOL
You go and be the best Santa ever.... Let all of that past excess baggage go.... Life is too hard without us trying to bring extra hurt along the way......
What time are photos? I need to give Santa my wish list....BWAAAHAAAAA
