I Couldn't Be Any Happier
Well, I just had to share my latest accomplishment. Monday will be 11 months since I had my gastric by-pass. My goal since having my surgery was to reach my goal weight by my surgerviersary. Well, as of this morning, I am officially at goal weight. I was able to do it in 11 months and I am thrilled to death. It has been a relatively easy road for me, there have been a few detours, some speed bumps, and a few stalls, but all in all, it has been relatively easy. When asked if I have any regrets, my answer each time is, I only have 2 regrets. The first one is that I let my self get in such horrible shape in the first place and the second one is that I waited so long to make the decision to have the surgery.
Now that I'm at goal weight, I feel the best I have felt in years and I have all the tools and information I need to be a successful WLS patient. I missed out on a lot of things while my daughter was growing up because of my weight and the health issues I dealt with, but I hope to recapture some of those times with my grand daughter who is scheduled to arrive in April. I am thrilled I will be in good enough health and shape to be able to run around with Ryleigh and not have to sit down every 2 minutes or tell her Mimi can't play right now because she doesn't feel good.
Thanks for letting me share today.

I am so excited for you and so proud that you made it to your goal. You may still lose somemore weight, but just realize you're body will stop losing and you'll be able to maintain where you want to be. Again congradulations. YOU DID IT.
