I am SO glad it is Friday!
I did my 20 minutes on the elliptical and my 20 minute walk to the office. I actually had to wear sunglasses today because there was this huge thing in the sky that made me squint! What the? That's the . . . sun? Ohhhh!
We didn't get any snow on my side of town, so I couldn't call in a snow day. Shucks. I only have dogs, no kids, so I couldn't use the fact that the schools were closed to stay home either. Sigh.
Holly--I hope you made it okay up and back that long country driveway in all the snow!!!
I went to a band support group last night and really enjoyed it. LH was a post op there who has done really well. She showed us her scars (teeny tiny!) and filled us in on lots of details on how her life has changed. Seems like she has made the transition well (former diet coke addict, which gives me hope with my diet pepsi fix) and has really made me excited about continuing down this path. I even walked the 20 minutes back to my car after the meeting instead of taking the bus, I was so inspired.
If I'm lucky, only another 6 weeks or so until I can get banded!
Anyone else getting off their butts today?
Denise
