home from hospital

Hi everybody.   I'm finally home from the hospital.  Got home about 10am.  I'm very sore but doing ok.  Dr. McDowell and Baptist took very good care of me.  He took out about 12 inches of my colon.  I'm not able to eat or drink very much without getting nauseous but hopefully that will get better soon.  Well, it's about time for some pain meds so I post again later.

Hey Melissa, So glad to hear you are home and that all went well!! Take it easy so you get back to life as you know it. Enjoy those pain meds, they can be a real treat.

Hey Melissa, glad to hear that you are home. I know that you are glad the surgery is over. I'm sure that they took awesome care of you. I was going to try to find your room and or your family on Thursday before Phil and I left, but I hate to say it, but I didn't even thing anything else about it until we got home later that night.........sorry. Give us a shout if you need anything.

I'm glad the surgery went well!  I bet your glad to be home in your on bed!  Take this oppurtunity and milk it for all it's worth.  How many holidays do you get to lay on your tuckus and let everyone wait on you? LOL!!!
