I am thinking of the OLD Charlie Brown Christmas that was on last night! Wonderful story!

Now on to more important things - The OH TN Forum Christmas party is THIS Friday night,  ALL are welcome, regardless of where you live: East, West, Middle, Alabama.  Regardless of what stage you are in in this awesome journey and if you are a newbie an oldie or a what ever, AND last but not least WE DO NOT CARE WHAT TYPE OF SURGERY YOU HAD!!!!   Please come and join us for a night of fellowship and sharing with a bunch of LOSERS!

We are needing a list of sorts of what foods you are bringing.  Please bring two plates of food.  We will have enough I am sure.    I think we have everything else covered. Plates, napkins, cutlery, cups, SF Punch.   If you think of something else we need, please let me know.

Beth, we have the cups and the cutlery, the cups are red with green Christmas trees on them and the cutlery, is heavy clear plastic. I could only find a bag here and a bag there in the colors. So yesterday I found a box of 50 knives, forks, spoons all together so I got them. We are bringing a deli meat & cheese tray and some type of WL friendly sweets, I still haven't decided on that just yet. I'm sure that we will have plenty of food and have a awesome time.

Beth,

My wife and I are bringing the two packages of red plates as you requested.
As far as food goes, I am not sure.  Should we bring a few items for those that have not had the WLS?  Such as spouses, dates, etc?

Hi Beth, I told Scott yesterday that I would not be able to make it, but I postponed the tests for another day.  My liver will still be there for a future biopsy.  I have my ornament, but not sure just yet what to bring.  I do have the stuff to make pumpkin bread, but it's not for the diabetics or those of us who have had surgery.  It's made with white flour and 3 cups of sugar.  It's a toss up as I don't have any money and not much in the apartment to work with.  I'm going to hit up a food bank on Thursday morning and see what they give me.  I'll bring the mistletoe for all the kisses from the singles (male) that may be there.  LOL

Send me a message as to what is needed or any suggestions. I'm at a loss as to what to make.  What I eat most surgical people can't eat.  Like white flour and sugar.  They don't bother me, I wish they did, so my bowels would work.

I need to go to the ER, my potassium is very low and being sick for 4 days with my tummy, I'm a little dehydrated which is weird as I am constantly drinking something with water or jus****er.  Food is the only thing that won't stay down.

Is the food to be finger food, or dishes?

Love

Beth,
Bleu is smoking chicken wings Thursday.  They are always great.  Not sure what else we are bringing, maybe a vege tray.
