Holiday Season
The Holiday Season is upon us. Cheryl and I went to the Christmas Contada performed by the Christ Church Choir last evening. It was a spirt filled evening of worship through word and song. During one of the songs, there was a time of testimony that I have never seen before. It was called "card-board" testimony. People sharing what God has done for them. It was written on cardboard. On one side was where they were and on the other is where God has led them too. During this season ponder on where were you this time last year and where are you now. If you feel like it share with us. May the God of Pease and Love be with you and yours during this time of Year.
Great post Phil!
Let me be the first to step up and testify! This time last year, let's ee. I was a 325 pound, overwieght man who felt terrible. Don't get me wrong, I truly enjoyed life for all it was giving me. I just felt terrible, healthwise! I had trouble sleeping. I suffered from severe acid reflux. My joints were shot and achy. My blood pressure looked like the thermometer on a hot summer day! I was a borderline diabetic. I was miserable with the way I felt!
Flash forward 1 year later. None of the previously mentioned ailments are anywhere around! And to top it off...I weigh 189 pounds! I feel that my life is where God intends it to be!
Thanks for the oppurtunity to share what a difference a year makes!
