Yep it's official.............

The second time was the charm for Phil. His surgery went right according to plan. All paperwork was completed, all the i's got dotted and all the t's got crossed. Bloodwork was awesome. They got started on him @ 9:15 this morning, and by about 10:30 they was done. I have pictures of him in the waiting room, right before surgery, as soon as they brought him back (ya'll are gonna love that one). I will be taking more in the morning when I get back out there. By the time I left tonight, he had only needed one pain shot, he had eat......well no....drank, he took a nap, then we started walking the halls. He was getting a little tired after that, so I decided that I would leave and come home and try to get some sleep myself. I went to bed @ 1:00 this morning and have been up since 4:00. Once it was over and I knew that he was ok, me & mom went to Opry Mills and had a great time.
I want to thank everyone that has called, texted,email, posted replies,,pm'd, sent smoke signals........lol etc. They were are all very much appreciated. I want to send a Special Thank You to Paula, she was there before to see him off and when I couldn't find out what was going on this afternoon, I picked up the phone and called her, she got right on it and got me the information that I needed and assured me that everything was fine and not to worry. Thanks also for posting for me. We was determinded to "Get R Done"........lol Paula even asked Dr. Morton, if she could assit him in the OR..................lol
He is due to come home tomorrow, not sure what time yet. I'm sure he will post himself when he gets home. He loves reading everything, so feel free to fill this post up with replies....lol
