I broke the 100 mark....

I woke up today in a bad mood and only weighed because I thought oh well let's see how bad I am retaining water today? Yes I am PMS'ing. LOL but much to my surprise------I had lost 7 pounds since last week. WOOHOOO not only am I excited to have lost weight over Thanksgiving....but I cleared my first major hurdle. I have lost 102 pounds!!!!!!!! I was shocked and thrilled and elated and every other positive description of excitment one can imagine. This has been a long long journey. I have not been below 400 in over ten years. So when I hit that point I was happy but also kind of scared......kept thinking will this really work? Will I just stop losing? Maybe I won't lose anymore? Needless to say I am oh so very happy that I am in fact on the right path. I love my sleeve. VSG was the perfect surgery for me. Now all the frustration with not being able to have surgery years ago is just fine. Some of us believe that things happen for a reason....personally I think I had my surgery when it was my time. Gastric and lapband are both great but I don't believe I would have been as happy as I am today after VSG. I am so thankful for Dr. Joya and his staff. I can't wait for my every new positive step. 2008 has been a blessed year for me...and I can't wait for 2009. The possibilities are endless.

I am thrilled to have had the Lower Body Lift! There are times I don't even recognize myself in the mirror. It has been a wonderful year. WLS is a phenomenal tool!
