I continued to lose up to my 2 year surgiversary. I thought I was done at 18 months and was happy with where I was and then my body decided it wasn't done yet and proceeded to drop another 20 lbs.

I have never heard of a 9 or even 12 month window. Everything I have heard is an 18 month "optimal" window. This means MOST of us will continue to lose for 18 months. Some will lose it in less than a year, others will take longer.

Never let someone else tell you what you can't do. Especially if that person has not had the surgery. Even if the person has had surgery, you have to remember that they are speaking from their own experience and cannot speak for you.

I heard a support group "leader" (not at a Nashville support group) telling people that they would never be a normal weight after this surgery and that they would gain some weight back. Because she had gained 30 lbs back after never reaching a normal weight, she was passing on this information as fact to everyone else. I just want to go up to her now and tell her "I am coming up on 3 years post-op and I am maintaining a normal weight."

Keep on doing what you know to do and the rest of the weight will come off!
