Very Excited

Ok, so I know I don't post all that much.  I contribute and post when I feel compelled or when I want to share.  Well, I've really been working quite hard to reach my goal and I feel I've done a pretty good job recently.  I know the last 10-30 pounds are the hardest and sometimes those are the ones that you don't get off before your 1 year anniversary.  But, I just wanted to share that I am within 5.5 pounds of my goal and 3.8 pounds in sight of having a normal BMI.  I am so excited I just can't stand it.  I have not felt this good in years and am thrilled beyond belief.  My surgiversary isn't until January 15 and I just know the way the weight has been coming off in recent weeks that those last 5.5 pounds will be off well before Christmas.  What an awesome way to ring in the new year.

There are several folks on this board that I have become quite close to that have offered quite a bit of encouragement as well as guidance and direction to me (you know who you are) and I'm so thankful to you.  There are others, that through their posts, they also have been a source of encouragement as well as provided guidance and knowledge.

Anyway, just wanted to share and I thank each of you for your contributions to this board.  As I said, I don't post all that much, but I certainly do take the time to read each day and I take away a bit of knowledge each day - so thanks and to everyone that is reading today - keep up the good work - you are all winner's in my book.

Wendy what a great accomplishment you should be proud! What a great time of year (Christmas) to get a new wardrobe it makes gift suggestions easier. Keep up the good work. C'ya Bob

Thanks Bob, I appreciate it.  Yeah, I told the family to just give me gift cards so I can do some more shopping - my new transfer addiction.

Thanks Scott.  Yeah, this is the first time in my life I can actually say I'm normal and truly mean it.  It's such a great feeling.

Oh trust me I am.  I think I have just about worn several of my fingers down to the bone.  I'm so tired of filing I could just about scream.  I don't know why you aren't here helping you being the good friend that you are.

That is terrific news Wendy. When I seen you at the walk you looked amazing. Keep up the good work and those little 5.5 pounds will be gone in no time. I am still in a slump of sorts, so it's good to see other's doing so well. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving. Hopefully, we will get to see you at the OH Christmas Party.

Thanks Cheryl.  Thanksgiving was good - quiet (which is always good).  I trust yours was good as well.  Unfortunately, I won't be able to attend the Christmas parties this year.  I have a 2 long standing Christmas events that fall on the night of the OH Christmas Party as well as the Baptist Christmas Party.  Maybe next year.  Take care and I hope the next few weeks leading into Christmas and the New Year aren't too busy for you and Phil.
