Sister having RNY surgery today!

My twin sister, Kristy,  is having her Gastric Bypass surgery this morning at Vanderbilt about 9:00. I am very excited for her and hopeful that this will help tremendously with some health problems she has been experiencing. Obviously as excited as we are, we are still nervous because it is a major surgery and this will be her 1st surgery ever. So, please keep her in your thoughts and prayers this morning. Thanks!

I know how excited you are and how scared Kristy must be but I know she will do well and will be on the losing side in no time. Sending prayers and Kristy is in my thoughts.

Misty, I was so happy to hear that your sister had been approved, and now look!  It's her day!  I know she must surely be excited.  Are you two identical twins?  You have been such a great example for her, and I know you will be there to help her along with anything she may need help with.  Take care, and keep us posted!
