The pre-op appt...
I still find it hard to believe surgery is really going to finally happen, it seems so long since I started "jumping through the insurance hoops" and now I am just 18 days away. Yesterday, I went for all my pre-op appts at Vanderbilt.
My Mom, one of my huge supporters, went with me, she got to meet my doctor and his staff.
They told me to be at Vandy at 10:30 on 12/9 and by noon I'd be in surgery!!! I go back on the 23rd for checkup (and stiches removed, I'm assuming) and then they gave me all my post-op appts for the first six months.
I am so excited!!!!
