Saw Dr.Houston for my almost 9 month post op check
Hello to all of my friends here. I went to see Dr.Houston yesturday and all was great news. I have 86% of my excess body weight off, thank God!! They also said that I am at the high end of my goal weight. I am 5ft. 8in. tall and should weigh between 143 &159. I came in at 159 on the scales! YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I bought size 8 jeans the other day, down from a 22! Shirt size is med. down from a 2XL. I can't remember the last time I was this size and feeling this good. Thanks for all your support and Dr.Houston has turned out to be pretty cool, after my first visit with him I was a little frightened! LOL

I am so happy for you. And, I know that he is happy for you too. I know how proud you are of yourself as you have worked SO very hard to get to this place. I am sure you could write volumes already of how this surgery has changed your life... Thank you for sharing with us today. That makes me smile.

Hey Tammy, Thanks so much! Congrats to you too, To go from a 6X to a 12 is AWSOME yourself!!! And yes, single didgit pants did blow my mind. My mindset when I went to the store was to go to the plus sizes still. Once there it hit me that I was not going to find anything to fit me! LOL But an 8 just blew me away. Thanks again and keep up the good work yourself!
