i am in california and im going to be moving to chattanooga TN in jan . i had my wls march 15,2006 and have lost a total of 255 lbs . i would love to meet some new people who has had wls as well and maybe get to a support group. so if anyone is interested please send me a email at [email protected].

You might have some problems adjusting to the humidity, but hopefully that will be your biggest problem. Chattanooga is very beautiful. After 22 years in CO, we've been in TN for 11... Love the people, the weather and so much more. My biggest crave from out west is Mexican food, but that really has been a small price to pay. Hope your move goes smoothly & you enjoy your new home.

Welcome to TN. I live on the same mountain as Nancy, so we are closer to the Great Smoky Mountains part of the state. My sister lives in Georgia, not far from Chattanooga. She lived in Chat for about 10 years and loved it. My husband's business is actually in Chat. We have always said if we moved from here, we would move there! Being from California, you may be in for culture shock, but you will find that Tennesseans are about the nicest people around! Wow, 255 pounds! That is so inspiring! I imagine once you get settled, you will have lots to share! I know there are some folks on this board from that area. Hopefully, they will speak up! Again, welcome!
