How are the glucerna shakes?

I am going to buy my shakes. I have to start my liver diet on the 4th.. I am nervous ab out the diet before than I am the surgery. I guess with the surgery I will know tht I cannot eat. This is going to be hard. Any advice?

I have not tried the Glucerna shakes.  Although, I did get a free sample last week at the Diabetes Fair...  perhaps I will get it out today and take a swig and see if they are good... hold on, I will do it right now.

Remember, this is coming from a postop, so the taste for you as a preop will be much different....

My conclusion:  at first, it tasted good.  There is an after taste...  not sure if it is the vitamins in it?  But overall, I would say its ok.  I tasted the creamy chocolate delight.  

Serving:  one bottle (8 oz)

Calories:  200 (which is high for me; I'd rather have a protein shake)

Fat: 7

Carbs:  27 minus 5 dietary fibers = 22 net carbs wowsers

Sugars:  6

Protein 10 which is ok

I am not finishing the bottle.
