Southern TN Lunch Bunch

Whew I am exhausted!  Sitting here in my warm fuzzy white robe uploading pictures from today's Lunch Bunch with Gail Patrick and her friends...  we had a great time today in Fayetteville.  Jenn75, her husband, Tim and myself all took a road trip.  I've posted pictures (the official first pictures of the Southern TN Lunch Bunch, although they have been meeting for a few months now). 

We only visited one Goodwill store, which was right next to the Mexican restaurant.  Jenn came out with a few finds, then after we ate, we visited Fred's, picked up some sugar free Chick-o-stix, and did you know that they have sugar free mini tootsie roll pops?  I think I was out of the loop on this one.  I had no idea! 

Jenn and I drug the men over to Factory Connection where each of us took out a new shirt...  on the way home we stopped at Franklin Big Lots where we found some Promax shakes.  And, I just opened up one right there in the store, we both took a drink and decided, "This tastes pretty good...."  and bought four containers each.  They will make great coffee creamer... . $1.70 each compared to Labrada Lean Body's 3.50.  Good bargain.  *For those of you who wonder, I normally buy one of whatever find I get, taste it and make sure that I like it...  that way I can stock up on a great deal....

 Speaking of deals, I bought 9 boxes of the generic Moo Magic at Kroger today... half price.  I bought all they had!  So it was a good day with friends, both old and new...  and picked up some great finds.....

Sounds like you all had a wonderful time!  Boy, am I glad I did not go, I don't think I could have handled all the shopping!  The pics are fantastic!

Gail is the sweetest lady...  I enjoyed visiting with her very much...  I am hoping that her and the Southern ladies can all drive up together soon to be with our Lunch Bunch group.  Scott, she follows your blog too and enjoys it very much.

Gail, thank you for being a perfect hostess for our group.  It was well worth our trip!

I was so glad that Melinda, Tim, Jennifer, & Brian made the trip to Fayetteville yesterday.  It was so good to meet all of them.  We had four to show up from Fayetteville.  I saw two of them at church this morning and we were still talking about yesterday.  I hope that we can come up there and meet the rest of your bunch.  A wealth of information was shared.  Thanks for much for the goodie bag.  Now I know why you're moving.  There's not enough room for your stash at the apartment.  I will share some things that I have already tried, but no one gets the Achiev One or the Oh Yeah & Rockin" Roll bar.  I have learned so much from Melinda's site, Scott's blog, this board, and other's profiies.  About ten people that I work with have had RNY.  The last one before me brings me her too big clothes.   I only live four miles from the AL state line and had my surgery in Huntsville where I work.  I lurk on the AL board sometimes but feel that the TN one is the best.

Gail invited me and I was hoping I could make it Saturday but had other obligations that I could not get out of. Maybe I can make it next time - at least I hope I can.

Just wanted to say thank you to the girls in Fayetteville for having us! We enjoyed it and can't wait for you all to come to Nashville!
Of course Brian and I had a blast traveling down with Tim and Melinda. The shopping was great! Thanks for all the great tips Melinda!
