Welcome!   I don't know what I would have done without the kind words of my Tennessee friends on this web site.  At least there is a place to come where people understand what you are and will be going through!

Welcome!  As for the tickerfactory.  You don't do the link.  You just copy and paste the ticker that you have made in you settings signature.  I too don't know where Monterey Tn is.  How about a hint?

I live in a community near Monterey which is a small town near Cookeville TN.   Cookeville TN is located half-way between Nashville and Knoxville, it is the home of Tennessee Technological University.  

Is Somerville down near Brownsville?

Monterey is east of Cookeville on I-40.  We're about halfway between Nashville and Knoxville.  Centennial sponsors a support group at the Cookeville hospital.  Go to Centennial's site and contact the group leader about meeting details.  I was going to go to my first meeting last week, but had a conflict.  I can't imagine there being a requirement that one must be a Centennial patient as we all are on this journey and can use all the help we can get.

I am sure there will be more questions as the days tick away until December 9th!  But until then...    I just wanted to say thank you again to all of you..   I can see where being a part of this forum is going to be beneficial in my journey!

Hey, my son is getting his PH.D at Cookville.  I get up there every once in a while.  I hope to be having surgery next year at Centennial.  Just wasting my time with the insurance folks right now.
