One Month Surgiversary
Today has been exactly one month since my surgery. I was fortunate to have an appointment planned with my regular physician today for my yearly physical. Then I got on the scales...
30 POUNDS GONE!
I couldn't believe my eyes. God has blessed me so much to be able to have this surgery and to have had a smooth recovery and transition. As I was out walking during my lunch hour, I found myself walking with a smile on my face and not even realizing it. My whole attitude about my life has changed now - for the better.
And once again, I couldn't have done it without this forum. I learned so much from all of you, and every day, I applied your lessons to my life. I haven't needed a local support group because you guys give me all the support I need. (My family has also been wonderful, as have my co-workers. I'm so blessed.) I know I don't post much, but I am on here, and I am learnng from you.
