Apologies
Specifically to the fine people of the TN forum...
My apologies for recent posts that have ended up on other areas of the OH website. Needless to say that the election has brought out the worst in people and I am certainly no exception. I just never thought that I would live in a country where I would be harrassed unmercifully for speaking my mind and voting my concious. I'm sorry if I have made our little corner of the website look bad. With that being said, I'm going to disappear for a while. I will get the phone list out by the end of the weekend via email. It was not your fault... thing happened, words spoken... it spiraled... please do not disappear. We here are a family of support. We do have our personality conflicts at times... but we always come back around to support our wls friends when it is most needed. The other folks who came here have a place that they enjoy spending time. We have our place that we like to spend time. Unfortunately, trying to merge those two environments just was not conducive to a healthy place for us.
Let's just put it all behind us and carry on...
Thanks, Mel. I guess this wouldn't bother me so much...but when I was in high school I went on an exchange trip to Russian and the Ukraine when it was still under Soviet rule...seeing and talking with people who were so envious of our freedom, really put things in perspective.

if you leave then the ones who were so hateful have won. there will always be hate. rather it be about politics, religion, race, ideas. always. people are passionate about this sort of thing. i have great peace in knowing there is a reason for all things. i did my part (whichever side that was) and the rest is up to Him. I feel that if the election had gone the other way, there would have been the same arguments from the opposite side.
passion is not anything to be sorry for.
there is a time and place for everything and a board like this is not really appropriate but this board allows it. so what can we do. choose. speak and expect the backlash or stay quiet (and i just mean on the board). have these passionate discussions with people face to face.
Now, move on and put it behind you. and dont leave the board for something as small and petty as a political difference.

Hey Tina, You did not start this regardless of what you think! You gave your opinion and that was it and then one person, who she knows who she is, thought it to be her place to go to the RR and transfer the post. We post on the TN site to our TN family and then we have one of our own start trouble in other sites. If we wanted to put these posts on other sites we would do that from the get go. I have met this person and know I am for sure that she is not the kind of person I ever want to be friends with! You know who you are and I know you will read this and I really could care less how I make you feel TROUBLEMAKER!!! Tina , you just keep on keepin on!
