OMG!!! Trader Joe's
Beth
OH MY GOD! I SPENT $126.21. I took 4 bags home. I bought all sorts of frozen foods such as eggplant parmesan, chicken skewers, crab cakes (teeny tiny ones, better for my portion control)... oh the list goes on and on. I could not find the french onion soup in the freezer section, asked a guy. He could not find it either. So at checkout, the guy gave me a free bag, asked me if I found everything I wanted, I told him no, not the french onion soup. They found them and gave one to me free. I bought the other one cause they only had 2 in stock.
OH MY I LOVE IT! I remained patient cause there were so many wall to wall people, many would not get out of my way. I about rammed one lady down (on accident of course) but wanted to scream MOVE IT OR LOSE IT! LOL. Tim said I didn't plan that through very well cause he had to clean out the freezer for all my new finds...
The prices are comparable to regular grocery stores. They are not overpriced in my opinion at all. I found the rice crisp chips that Tim had last year from Sams and then they stopped selling. He loves them and they are better calorie and carb wise...
They had something for every member of the family.
My $50 budget was out the window as I reached the freezer foods! LOL
I told Tim that we are going to start doing our grocery shopping there every week... I cannot wait... there were a lot of people there, so I did not get a chance to rEALLY look.
Trader Joe's had soy milk unsweetened and the stats looked great, for only 1.49! I am going to try that next time.
