Need restricted medication list

Does anyone have a list of medicines (OTC) that we should stay away from as a post-op. I lost my list and can't remember for the life of me what was on it. Was ibruprofen (Motrin) part of that list? What about liquid medicines (like Benadryl, nyquil)? Thanks!

No ibuprophen, it is an NSAID and those are no-nos unless appoved.  Not sure if benadryl in on it, but I take nyquil but usually only a half a dose.  I will look through my files and try to find my list.

I thought we couldn't take Ibuprophen but I couldn't remember. That helps. I would assume that tylenoyl liquids and that kind of thing is ok as long as it is not ibruprofen? Has anyone had any experience with dramamine after surgery? Does it work as well after surgery?

I suggest trying the children's products of tylenol since the dosage we need has changed as well.  I do the liquids mostly but they do have some now that is in the melt away strips.  Still haven't found my list but will keep looking.  I have used dramamine when I went to Hawaii in 2005, had my surgery in 2/2004,  and I didn't have any problems it worked just like it always had before, maybe even a little better because I didn't even get nauseaous at all and I usually get sick riding to the end of my driveway if I'm not driving.
