Pine Cones

Hello Friends,
Can anyone in the Sevierville/Pigeon Forge area tell me where I can find (not buy) large pine cones?   Unfortunately, the mountain I live on had a blight about 10 years ago and lost our fir trees.  They are coming back but all I can find now are the small cones which are only about about 3 inches.  I need to collect 2 to 3 white garbage bags full.  The women at my church paint them and attach to our wreaths, which we sell to support our missions.
Any suggestions  would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Nancy W

sorry nancy, we had to cut down 7 trees this year due to the pine beetle blight and we have 4 more that need to be cut.  so, i am pretty sure that we don't have any large ones either.  btw, thanx again for the shirts.  i wore one to vote the other day.

Marilyn,

Thanks anyway.

How are you feeling?  I know that shoulder surgery is supposed to be worse than knee replacement but if there is any comparison of the pain, I began feeling like I WAS going to stop hurting eventually at the end of the third week.  I felt I could finally see the light at the end of the tunnl and the pain did begin to abate, slowly but surely.  Sorry, I'm having some trouble with my spelling and am rambling lately.  Must be my new medication, which I plan on getting rid of soon after the surgery.

Maybe we can have you two over sometimes next week, if you are up to it.

Will contact you.

Love,

Nancy
