Hello and very nice to meet you all.  I had laproscopic Roux N Y Gastric bypass 8-4-05 and the day of surgery I weighed 275 pounds, for 1 yr before surgery I dieted and lot 85 pounds on my own.  My heaviest was 380 pounds.  The day I had surgery was an emotional day for me as I'm sure it was and will be for many of you.  I am now 3 plus years out and I have had my trials and tribulations for sure.  I lost all of my excess plus some within the first yr.  In one year I went from 275 to 135, I was underweight for a while, but I have managed to find a happy place.  I weigh currently 150 pounds and I'm 5 foot 9 inches tall.  I have added a ton of pics in 3 different albums to show my progress.  Take a look see please....I'm more than happy to try an answer any questions you might have.

Hi Robin,
Welcome to the board, glad you are here.  Congratulations on your WLS success, I enjoyed the pix and I love the pink hair.  LOL  You are totally a new person, don't look anything like you did.  Look forward to seeing you hanging around.

Thank you so much for the welcome.  I was a member of another weight loss board, but MSN is closing there groups in Feb. so I thought I would find a new place of support.  Even after 3 yrs I feel I occasionally need support from my peers.  We help each other in more ways than one.   I do feel like a different person, lol I like having fun with the colors in my hair.

I would like to thank you all for the wonderful welcome..  The weight loss group I am currently a member of is closing in Feb., so I'm trying to find a new support system.  Even at 3 yrs out I still find myself needing support whether it's just that reminder...Take your Vits.!!!    The only major problem I have had since surgery was attack of the gallbladder, which I did have removed this past April.  Thanks again for the welcome and I look forward to staying a while.

Well I totally thank each and every one of you for the Open Arm Welcome.  We all need support weather we'de like to admit it or not, I know I sure need it from time to time.  I hope to share my story with others, and to give that much needed encouragement to those who need it.  I wish you all a Fabulous day!
