Help Needed Breaking down Recipes
I have a lot of recipes I think I have copied from various WLS sites but they don't have any content information (ie, protein, fat, sodium, etc.) I'm really wanting to try some of these but want to be sure I'm getting the most protein and least amount of other things before I take the time to shop for and then cook these recipes. I'm listing some of them below in case some of you recognize them.
Lemon Garlic Dump Recipe
Cheesy Chicken
Confetti Chicken
Chicken Enchilada Casserole
Quick and Easy Chicken Dinner
Also, one of the recipes calls for white wine. What can I use instead?

I'm really not sure... I'd have to see the recipes. I'd say that you can have cheese, half & half, creamer, splenda, products sweetened with splenda if the carbs arent too high, stay away from any sauces that have sugars as they add up soon and are absorbed fast, causing dumping, you can always have the chicken...lots of protein...Not sure if this helps or not... you may want to post links to those recipes so someone can look at them for you.... and of course you won't be able to eat much of it either due to your restrictions.
take your recipe and go to fitday.com. its free to join. then, fo to add custom foods, and add your recipe and put in all the ingredients. be sure to put how many wls servings it will make. then save it, go to the food log, and enter it anf change it to one serving, it will give you all the nutritional data. it takes a littlr playing with, but it is a real good tool.

I use Fitday to calculate the nutritional values of my recipes.
For any recipe calling for wine, you can substitute an equal amount of water, unsweetened apple juice, or broth (chicken, beef or vegetable).

You guys are the best. Now its off to get started entering these recipes so I can begin eating again!
If any of you think these recipes sound good I will be glad to post them once I've found out their content. Also I can bring them to the meeting Tuesday night.
