and in case you didn't hear - the second annual Tennessean forum Christmas party is coming up in less than 60 days - I know, I counted!!! All of you are invited, regardless of surgery type, status, hospital, surgeon or another other factor. This is a time to get together and fellowship with one another. We will be having it at Beacon Baptist Church in Nashville. It is located off of Old Hickory Rd and north Dickerson Pike, near Hunter's Lane High School.

With that said, we will have a dirty santa / ornament exchange. Please bring a nice ornement for you and one for your companion to share in the exchange. We had a blast last year doing this, and several have ALREADY bought their ornaments for this years exchange!!

It will be a pot luck affair. We are asking that each couple or individual bring 1 or 2 dinner plate sized appetizers or dishes. We should have plenty of food and some to spare!

This is a chance for all of the adults to get together and have a wonderful time celebrating the meaning of Christmas and celebrating each others successes. It is also a time for us to shine in our finest get ups! Semi formal to forrmal please - and yes David Griffin, Underwear is required!

So please, plan on attending December 12, at 7:00 p.m. for fun, frolicking and food! And again, ALL are encouraged to attend!!!!

Marilyn,
Last year at Centennial's Christmas party I was on crutches due to knee surgery. I wrapped tinsel on the crutches and tied a bell on each hand of them too. I had fun, but had to chair dance with my crutches LOL.

You can always add spakle to it with the bedazzler.....lol. Maybe some glittery stickers will work.....Just joking- you come and that will be formal enough. Take care

Bleu and I would love to attend the Christmas party unless I am a fresh postop.Expect it to be between now and Christmas!
Is there a nice hotel/motel to stay at, close to the church. We really are not familiar with Nashville.

Hey Nancy!

I'm not Beth, but since we're married, I thought it would be OK to answer for her...she does it for me all the time! LOL!!!!

There are plenty of hotels in the Opryland area, but my big suggestion would be to give Marilyn a holler and see where they will be staying that evening.

Until then, I will try to put together a list of a few just in case.
