Mom's 1st surgery done

Just wanted to let everyone know that Mom's surgery this morning went fine and she is home. The bone spur was alot larger than they thought, but it and the cyst is now out. Her finger, her wrist and part of her hand is bandaged. She is doing good right now, but I don't think all the meds have wore off yet. She is a trooper though and I know that she will only take the pain med's as a last resort. Still continue to keep us in your prayers. This is 1 down and getting her ready for the one on Monday. Then the others to follow on out through Nov and maybe Dec. We are not sure when they are going to do my step dad's back, but his first eye surgery is on Nov.11th, they will let that one heal and then do the other one, then after those, they are going to schedule the one for his back.

Glad to hear that the first one went well... and we will believe that the 2nd will be equally as successful... hopefully all of this will be over soon and everyone on a road to recovery...

I am so glad that it appears that things went well, I sure hope that her pain continues to stay controlled and she will be just fine, it seems like your entire family is having a lot of surgery all together, but just think of how wonderful you will all feel during the holdiays, as you will have a lot of blessings to celebrate!!!
