Plastic Surgeon Recommendations

Hi guys,
I am now 39 pounds from my goal weight. It is time for me to start considering plastic surgery. I'm talking considering, not having. I want to start interviewing surgeons the first of the year and probably have surgery late spring or early summer. As with my WLS I am not limiting myself to east TN surgeons. So folks, who do you recommend and why? I am interested in a LBL with thigh lift and a brachioplasty with the girls lift!!! I do not think my insurance will cover any of it, but I will try. So, give me some opinions!

Funny how surgeons are so different, mine wont consider it until weight loss has been maintained for 2 years. A fluxuation in weight could tear your scar tissue (I am assuming) thats his reason. Not sure but I have to say you do look great! Iwill be a year out next month and I have nto even thought about plastic surgery yet, humm maybe I should start thinking giving myself a year to research.

Dr Bolar recommends Dr blalock for plastics. I have met with him and he is VERY informative. He spent nearly 2 hours with me explaining in great details the different surgerys available and what he would recommend for me. http://www.drblalock.com/

I had excellent results with a LBL with Dr. Stephen Smith in Knoxville--right in your neck of the woods. He calls is abdominoplasty/flankplasty but it is the same surgery we call LBL and includes lifting the buttocks and mons. He also did it outpt which saved tons of money but you will need someone to nurse you at home for a few days!
