Surgery date

Thank you to everyone for your support!  My surgery date is set for 11/3 and I start my preop diet next Monday.  I knew it would be quick after insurance approval, but I didn't think it would be this fast.  I'm really excited    Now it's just a matter of getting together the FMLA paperwork at work, and getting my mom's so that she can come down from Ohio to be with me.  I don't have any family down here, so it's kind of important for her to get to come. 

Thank you again!  In the short amount of time I've been coming, this board has come to mean a whole lot to me.  I'm grateful that I live in a time where this kind of thing is available 

That is great news. I know that you are relieved. I'm not sure if you have been reading some of the post about the Dinner Club event that is coming up Sat. We are meeting at Red Robin in Mt. Juliet. We would love to have you join us. You can PM me or Alyssa for more details. I think she needs a head count by Friday morning.

Seems like things are moving fast fast for you--November will be here before you realize it! 

Have fun doing all the paperwork and keep everyone posted as you move forward.  How exciting is all of this?  Next month is my big month with my psych visit, 2nd required dietician's visit and a meeting with my nurse practitioner.  I can't wait to be able to post my surgery date, too!

I bet these are going to be 19 of the craziest days of your life!!!  Yippeeeeee!!!

Wow...19 days makes it seem even closer!  I'm so excited that I can hardly stand it...I'd go in tomorrow if I could.

Before we know it you'll have your surgery date and will be 19 days away from yours as well.  I've had some frustrating times, but luckily they haven't been nearly as bad as I've heard they can be when trying to get through the hoops for this surgery.  I hope that you can get approved as easily as I have.
